Ways to become an online coach

If you thought a coach has to be present in person to teach you what he/ she know (for example Yoga), you could be
very, very wrong!
These days it is about teaching. If you are good, seriously, seriously good in your field, and reasonably well-versed
with technology, you could just be the successful online coach. And as always, with success, comes money!
Today we tell you what you need to do to become a successful online tutor – of anything!

1. Know yourself well!

One who does not know of his/ her own product can’t sell it well. It may end up hurting your very cause. You
could either have outright rejections or your learning curve could extend indefinitely. In either case, you won’t
make money in the immediate terms. It thus makes sense to take time to fine-tune your qualities. If need be,
engage a tutor, go online, join a full-time course, anything as long as it teaches you what you need to pertinently
learn. BUT LEARN YOU MUST. If not, you stand the chance of being ridiculed in those circles which matter.

2. Make good study material:

preferably tamper and pilfer proof! The net is the veritable den of those who can
pinch other’s ideas at the drop of a hat. But that does not mean you plagiarize or even worse, don’t make
anything in the name of sales collaterals. Make it and for the same be “inspired” by what others do and say but
see to it that your stuff is pilfered proof. Agreed that thieves are always a step ahead of the cops. But does that
mean the Cop make no efforts to stay ahead? No. Make good study material but continuously update it AND
update your security features

3. Advertise in the right circles:

Practically every day the cyberworld spawns some or the other new technology to
bring people together. Use these to advertise your services. Yesterday it was email, then social media and now
whatsapp. Things change. Email and websites are today not in the highest ranking as they have been dethroned
by social media and whatsapp. Who can guess what comes next? If you can’t, make the most of what you can.
But do that rigorously as your survival depends upon the same. More the folks know you, more shall they come
to you.

4. Learn digital marketing technology:

Continuing from the above, the digital domain is changing every day, every minute. Making websites was tough a while back. Today with the likes of “wordpress”, you just need to press a few buttons and what you get is world-beating, awesome looking websites at a fraction of yesterday’s cost. Same goes for whatsapp messaging and other platforms. Learn about them and keep learning because they help you stay miles ahead of competition!

5. Keep payment gateways clear and uncluttered:

It’s about money honey! And if it is so, keep your payment
terms, gateways and related things very clear. Go with the best banks and payment gateways. Being money-
related, there is always the danger of eavesdropping and pilfering- more so the reason you should advocate and
implement safety at all times!

6. Make a useful app:

There is nothing better than a nify, useful app to generate recall. It remains on the mobile
screen and keeps reminding the visitor of you and what you are capable of. It could be related to your line of
business or it could just be giving news about your field. Whatever it does, it should do it with style, speed and
substance.
